A hardy contingent of protesters have gathered at Horse Hill, Surrey where a community protection camp has been set up to prevent the unconventional extraction of oil by UK Oil and Gas Investments plc (UKOG).

Many rousing and moving speeches were delivered to the throng – highlighting the level of deception being practiced by the UK government as well as the direct harm being caused locally.

When and if you are unfortunate enough to find one of these drilling operations on your doorstep, you may well feel compelled to join with your neighbours to put a stop to this ecocidal madness.
