Community Outreach Training with Frack Free Somerset

Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th May, 10 – 5pm Masonic Hall, Frome

A weekend has been organised to support people to gain confidence, solidify their knowledge and learn new skills about ways to talk about fracking & unconventional gas risks in their community.

Taking place in Frome the weekend aims to:

• Support people to feel confident about talking about unconventional gas, including the technical aspects
• Generate key communication messages for campaigning
• Gain the skills to talk & listen to people from diverse backgrounds & communities
• Develop bespoke presentations & workshops and have a practice run delivering these
• Understand participatory & popular education methods of supporting learning
• Look at responses to commonly asked questions & answers and bust the myths around fracking & unconventional gas
