Imbolc Frack Free Fundraiser

Friday 31st January, 8pm – 1am | Hamilton House Events Space (Above Canteen), Bristol | £7.50/£5.00 unwaged

Launch into Frack Free February with an immersive Imbolc extravaganza!

Imbolc is directly between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It is the time where we recognise that the light is returning, the first signs that spring will be on her merry way before long with snowdrops emerging and the first ewe’s milk of the year. Our ancestors associated this time with the Celtic Goddess Brigid (also written Brigit/Brid/Brighid) and her connection to creativity, healing and bringing the elements of fire and water together.

We are setting out to harness this energy; acknowledging our ancestry and heritage, and our devotion and responsibility to this land. Join us and use this creativity and these healing intentions to stand up against fracking.

Celebrate the coming together of artists, activists and those who stand in solidarity against fracking, big business and the decimation of the earth.

Join us in a mystical evening with three fabulous musical performances from:

The Butterfly Wheel,
Tallulah Rendall,
and Calico Jack!

Help raise awareness of the threat of fracking to the land and communities of the South West and beyond… Expect an enchanted world of live music, rousing poetry, storytelling and social sculpture, all rising from the depths of winter to warm our hearts, summon our spirits and dance our socks off!

Join the event page on Facebook and share with friends.

All profits go to Frack Free Projects in the South West.
