Bristol & Somerset Community Energy Forum
The Bristol & Somerset Community Energy Forum is a day of talks and workshops, and an opportunity for you to talk to people and groups in your area who are thinking about, and acting on energy. The day will include guest speakers from community energy projects – Forum 21 and the Wedmore Community Power Company – and workshops on a range of topics, from Green Deal and ECO (the Energy Company Obligation), to estimating wood fuel resource in your area, and working with volunteers.
In the ticket types you can see the 7 workshops that we will be running on the day at 11:45am and repeated at 2:00pm. Just so we can get an idea of numbers, if you could register for the event by chosing which workshop you would be interested in attending for both the morning and afternoon. We would like to run all the workshops if possible, but please bear in mind that it will be dependent on numbers. If we need to change a workshop for whatever reason we will be sure to let you know.
A buffet lunch will be provided and refreshements will also be available during the day.
Workshops will cover:
· Green Deal and ECO
· Installer networks
· Working with volunteers
· Wood fuel and the heat map
· Funding
